What you’ll own — and what it takes.
Responsibilities
- Own year 4-7 platform strategy across assigned storage estates
- Architect migrations when evidence supports refresh — and defend extension when it does not
- Model capacity and performance trajectories for imaging and transactional workloads
- Author documentation patterns that regulated-industry audits accept
- Partner with field operations on execution and lifecycle leads on roadmaps
- Serve as the practice's deep-storage authority in client conversations
Requirements
- 8+ years of enterprise storage engineering or architecture
- Platform depth in at least two of: NetApp, Pure, Dell EMC, HPE
- Migration architecture experience at estate scale — not single-array moves
- Capacity/performance modeling that stands up to workload evidence
- Documentation discipline for regulated environments
- US work eligibility
Nice to have
- PowerScale (Isilon) or AFF operational depth — the flagship platforms
- Healthcare imaging (PACS/VNA) estate experience
- Post-EoSL storage operations exposure
