Field Operations · Remote — US eligible · 7+ years · Full-time

Run four-badge networks.
Own the critical path.

Cisco, Arista, Juniper, and Aruba field work on the 4-hour SLA support tier — the critical-path equipment where the business stops if the network does. Scope includes optical transport and wireless infrastructure, in estates where the network carries clinical imaging traffic and transaction cores, not just office VLANs.

What You’ll Run

The estates behind this role.

WUC Technologies is a managed IT services partner — sharpest in healthcare services, where the flagship workloads are Epic/EHR hosting and radiology on Dell PowerScale and NetApp AFF storage. Savings cases the practice builds are structural: the same models behind the infrastructure savings calculator.

  • Four-badge network estates: Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Aruba under one agreement
  • Critical-path equipment on the 4-hour SLA response tier
  • Optical transport and wireless infrastructure scope
  • Healthcare campus networks where imaging and clinical traffic set the stakes
The Job

What you’ll own — and what it takes.

Responsibilities

  • Carry 4-hour SLA response on critical-path network equipment
  • Execute multi-vendor network maintenance: hardware swaps, code lifecycles, config integrity
  • Own optical transport and wireless infrastructure work within assigned estates
  • Document every intervention to the audit-ready standard
  • Diagnose across badge boundaries — the fault does not care whose logo is on the box
  • Feed recurring-fault patterns to lifecycle planning

Requirements

  • 7+ years of enterprise network engineering across at least two of: Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Aruba
  • Field-hardware depth: chassis, line cards, optics, PoE plants — not just CLI
  • Optical transport experience (DWDM or metro) and enterprise wireless
  • Comfort on SLA-clock response with documentation obligations
  • US work eligibility and site-travel willingness
  • Background-check clearance — standard for all client-site engineers

Nice to have

  • Healthcare or financial-services network environments
  • Multi-vendor routing/switching certifications
  • Experience supporting networks past vendor end-of-support

The hiring process is four steps with documented entry criteria — application (response inside 5 business days), a 45-minute practice conversation, a field interview, and a transparent offer. The compliance practice documents operating work to NIST SP 800-53 and guidance from CISA. WUC Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
