What you’ll own — and what it takes.
Responsibilities
- Own technical discovery: inventory, support-contract archaeology, and estate mapping
- Build TCO and savings models that survive a CFO's scrutiny
- Author SOWs with scope, SLAs, and exclusions delivery can execute as written
- Translate OEM-specific support language into multi-vendor equivalents
- Partner with practice leads on solution design for regulated verticals
- Keep the honesty bar: model what the evidence supports, decline what it does not
Requirements
- 6+ years in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical procurement
- Multi-OEM infrastructure literacy: server, storage, and network support models
- Financial modeling depth — TCO, support-cost decomposition, savings attribution
- SOW authoring experience with regulated-industry procurement processes
- Comfort presenting to procurement officers and IT directors in the same meeting
- Boston HQ presence preferred; remote considered
Nice to have
- Third-party-maintenance market experience
- Healthcare or public-sector procurement exposure
- Familiarity with EoSL economics and parts-provenance models
